Where better to celebrate St Patrick’s Day than in Ireland’s capital city? This is arguably the best time of the year to visit Dublin, and 2022 will make no exception, with some 500,000 people expected to descend on the city for its famous parade. The event usually starts at St Mary’s Place and ends at St Patrick’s Cathedral, with marching bands, floats and costumes along the way. Check out their website for more details on tickets and times.

Watch as Patrick journeys through the streets of Belfast .He’ll be donning a giant cloak, elegantly patchwork-fashioned from expressions of people and groups throughout Belfast. The Parade will take place between 1pm – 2.30pm on 17 March. The event is free to attend but check out their website for more details.

A Spring Carnival Parade is set to take place in Derry City on the afternoon of March 17, and it aims to feature over 500 participants. The live show will transform the area in and around Guildhall Square . The parade will be departing Bishop Street at 3pm so get there early to get a good spot. Check our their website for details.

Carrick on Shannon’s St Patrick’s Day Parade 2022 will be held on Thursday 17th March starting at 1.00pm.Assembly from 12 noon at the Circular Road for floats and vehicles. Cork City explodes into life for its St Patrick’s Day Parade. Ireland’s second city holds one of the country’s biggest events, celebrating St Patrick with marching bands, dancers, street theatre performers and community carnival groups.
