Ahhhh Autumn, that means crispy leaves, darker night and the return of the pumpkin season. On the 26th October it is National Pumpkin Day, and we have put together a list of some Farms where you can pick your own pumpkin in time for pumpkin pie and Halloween. Also, it’s a great fun for the whole family and very Instagram worthy.
Priory Farm

Pumpkin Picking Dates are 12th -13 October and 19th -20th October 10AM-16:30PM (Lunch between 1-1:30PM)
Entry is £2.50 and then the cost of the pumpkins. Take a tractor ride out to Priory Farm’s pumpkin field and choose your Halloween table topper. Depart from the Discover walk entrance open from 10:30-4:30PM. Closer to Halloween, other events take place at the farm, including a spooky trail, and a pumpkin carving experience in a witches’ cave. Perfect for all ages!
Secretts Farm Store and Shop

Free parking brings your own bags and £1.50 entry, which covers the cost of the tractor ride to and from the pumpkin field. There are no card facilities. Open from 11AM – 3PM. Come down to Secretts Farm for their annual Pumpkin Week where you can take a tractor ride out to the pumpkin field to pick your goodies, then let the kids play in the tractor and haystack play areas, or get their faces painted. There’s also a special pumpkin refreshment menu available with pumpkin curries, soups and cakes, as well as hot and cold drinks.
Tulley’s Pumpkin Farm

Pumpkin Picking dates are 12 -13, 19- 20 ,26-31 October. Open from 10am -5:3-PM. There is free entry and free parking, only pay for your pumpkins. With 12 acres of field, producing around 75,000 pumpkins you’ll be sure to find the perfect pumpkin for your Halloween parties. There is lots of opportunity for getting the picture Instagram picture with a backdrop of orange pumpkins remember to tag ‘Tulleyspyo’ in your photo. There also have hot food stalls on site so you can grab a bite to eat and a hot drink after all your hard work. For the kids there is a play yard for them to take a break and have some fun.
Pumpkin Picking Patch

Pumpkin Picking dates are 13-14 and 19-28 October. Open from 9.30-16.00 daily. Parking and entry are free, they only except card payments and there are no cash facilities on site. There are lots of wheelbarrows handy to push around your pumpkins after all your hard work of picking them They have over 15 varieties of pumpkins and squash so grab one of every shape and colour. They have three other locations around Surrey and Sussex.
Crockford Bridge Farm

There is no entry fee and there is a card machine on site . Please bring bags to carry your pumpkins home. They also have a pumpkin festival at the end of October where they transform into a fun fair area with lots of fun actives such as face painting and lots of pumpkins for sale. .There’s an ice cream parlor and tea shack on site along. Crockford Bridge is the perfect pumpkin paradise for the whole family.
