The British Summertime has finally arrived, which means the sun is out, the Pimms cocktails are flowing and it’s the start of the Wimbledon Championships! We have put together a list of our favourite London spots this summer where you can enjoy all three. This is the next best thing if you are among the unlucky few that don’t have Centre Court front row seats.
St Katherine Docks Big Screen Wimbledon

Who wants to watch the entire Wimbledon Championship live in comfort of deck chairs in a Marina, on a floating pontoon on a giant screen? Surely Everyone? What’s more, there is free entry (but first come first served) so get there early to nab a good spot! You can bring your own food and soft drinks and have picnic on the Thames – no alcohol is permitted. However, if you’re in the mood for something different, then you’re spoil for choice with all the restaurants and bars along the Marina Bay.
St James Market Secret Wimbledon Screening

No tickets needed as its free admission to this wonderful live screening of the entire Wimbledon Championships, it is first come first served so get there early to get a good spot. Situated along the St James Market with a wide arrange of restaurants and cafes nearby for all your catering.
Brown Hart Gardens

Hosted by Mayfair and Belgravia, the historic public garden is completely transformed to host a giant screen to watch all the live action for the entire Championship. Food and beverages available on site from the café and seafood restaurant to get the full beach experience from the comfort of the city. Admission is free from 11am daily but it is on a first come first served bias so get there early as you won’t want to miss out! North Mayfair is best accessed via Bond Street, Marble Arch and Bond Street stations.
Summer Screen at Canary Wharf

Free admission – first come first served (Area will be closed once capacity is reached). A live screening of all the summer sporting events including the entire Wimbledon Championship. Free feel to bring your own food and drinks for a fun picnic style day out, however there are a range of restaurants nearby and the Grandstand bar! 11am onwards daily and suitable for the whole family.
Big Screen on the Green
Location: Fulham Palace Private Gardens & Morden Park Hall – Private Rose Gardens

Hosted by the same company, they offer two fantastic locations to view the Wimbledon finals on the 13th and 14th July. These are ticketed events So, if you really want to go all out get your tickets soon before they are all gone. They offer deck chairs and VIP seating, with multiples bars with the top mixologist to whip you up a range of cocktails to enjoy while you support your favourite tennis players. They also offer a range of gourmet food stalls for you to choose from. This is an outdoor event, and they have brought an added layer of drama with a red-carpet entrance. It’s really the perfect way to end of the Wimbledon Championship and enjoy the summer heat (hopefully!). Tickets range from £12.50-£36.
